I've been thinking a lot about the concept of flow lately...
My client Philippa Kennealy has a really insightful post on her Entrepreneurial MD Blog on "The Price of Perfectionism."
I'm introducing a new category today: Difficult Clients.
Don't get your hopes up...it's not the last day of this blog...
Matthew Stibbe at Bad Language gives us list of 10 Ways to Concentrate on Writing. While some of these items I practice religiously when I'm having a mental block or need a motivational jump start (which is most days), others are new to me.
Almost as soon as I returned home from Mama Lee's funeral, I became really, really sick. Monkey Pox or the consumption, I think.
This is one of my least-favorite days of the year
Marketing Guru Tom Asacker offers up a list of ways to authentically alleviate (and perhaps even avoid) stress in business.
This could be the one...intuitive interface, and COLORS....
I'm experimenting with a couple of different blogging clients for a client of mine. She wants a WYSIWYG interface on MT, similar to what she had on TypePad.

Like him, I have always made broad resolutions for sweeping (and next to impossible) changes, and then promptly denounced the entire concept when (surprise, surprise) nothing happened. Baby steps were for suckers!
Friday morning I found myself doing something I swore I'd never do...participating in that great American ritual of getting up at the crack of dawn for a "Black Friday" sale. And not just anywhere, but at that Geek Mecca, Fry's Electronics.
Finding a few kinks with the revised layout...am diligently correcting them now.
This isn't so much about the content of emails as the really dumb things some people do on a daily basis with the very act of sending an email. I can name five people off the top of my head who are guilty of any of these...fine people, otherwise intelligent people...but guilty nonetheless.
Keith over at To-Done has another thoughtful post...this time about making work more fun. Even if you love your job, there will inevitably be certain aspects of it that grow tedious. It's always handy to have a few tricks up your sleeve to cut loose and make the day go faster.
