The City of Seattle was launching a new site at SeattleCenter.com to mark the mayor's Century 21 Committee for future of Seattle Center, but they needed some help integrating their new site's design with a TypePad blog.
Integrating an existing design to work with TypePad definitely has its good points and bad points. On one hand, you don't have to come up with an original design. However, it's always stressful to have to tinker with someone else's design to make it work within the constraints of a system it wasn't created for...without mucking it up.
With only a slight variation from the template for the main Seattle Center site, I was able to include all of the desired TypePad functionality. And it was kind of a fun welcome to my new home at the same time!
