In Awe

January 21, 2007

I've just started working with a new high-profile client. I'm still at the stage in my business where I'm a little giddy at the opportunity to work with someone or something with name recognition, and this is no exception.

I found myself completely humbled when I logged into this particular TypePad account for the first time today and saw this site's numbers: thousands upon thousands of comments, thousands upon thousands of trackbacks, all of the feedback from readers who find the content so compelling.

I can't imagine that I will ever get any such level of feedback or participation on my own site, nor do I really want that burden. For me, standing behind the scenes and helping someone else "make it happen" is what it's all about.
