Crazy Paws Fun Ball Strikes Again, or "My Favorite Part of Doing This Blog"

December 12, 2006

Crazy Paws Fun Ball This morning I received a somewhat panicked inquiry on my contact form. Linda, the sender, didn't need my help with her web presence; she needed something much more important: how to find Sergeant's Crazy Paws Fun Ball for her dog.

Last year I had posted about our own difficulties locating said ball for Roscoe, and the incredible service we received when we contacted Sergeant's directly. And believe it or not, a Google search for "Crazy Paws Fun Ball" puts that post at #1. Ok, there are only three listings, and two are mine. But STILL!

Linda was then able to contact Sergeant's directly herself, and the same helpful folks hooked her up with a case of Crazy Paws Fun Balls. As she told me, Thanks for doing the blog. I would never have thought Customer Service would be so helpful....I sent him [the rep from Sergeant's] your blog. He wants to forward it on to Sergeant's sales force.

That makes me happy...not just that that Sergeant's customer service folks are so helpful and got Linda what she needed, but that I was able to provide someone with the one tip that made a difference. It all goes back to something like Thomas Leonard's Team 100 concept and having those referrals for professional (and even personal) services I can make readily. Graphic Designer, check. Copywriter, check. Dentist, check. Source for Crazy Paws Fun Balls, check.

It all came together nicely...and it turns out that Linda is an actress, and with red hair no less. So when they make a movie of this grand saga, she can play me.

Actress to portray me, check.
