Top Tips to Attract Blog Subscribers

One question I am frequenly asked by clients is what made you so damn cranky today? is How do I attract more subscribers to my blog? Brian at the always fantastic Copyblogger has put together a list of 10 ways to do just that. I love it when someone else does all the thinking so I don't have to.

Among his excellent suggestions:

1. Make it easy and obvious

3. Offer a bribe (a.k.a. "Pink Spoon")

6. Become a guest blogger (yep...blogging for someone else's blog)

8. Post in forums (with your blog URL in your sig line, natch)

10. Cross-promotional deals

And, of course, you can't forget the single most important thing...post compelling content. But that's obvious, right?
