I put off signing up until a couple of weeks ago, only to discover that they had shut off registration. DOH!

I quickly got on the waiting list, and last Saturday I found out I was in. Elisa, one of the coordinators, told me many of the people in my situation were local...they just assumed they could sign up at the last minute.

I have no idea which sessions I will attend ...I guess I'll see when I get there.

And I've made an executive decision to not blog during the sessions, and in fact to go laptop-free. I just want to soak it all in. Of course, I'm sure the click-clack of the keyboards on everyonee else's laptops will drive me up the wall...but it's a small price to pay be there.

I'm sure I will have plenty to say when I get back...

Update Friday, 7/29: Apparently I'm not the only one who is a little nervous about this. Anxiety loves company!
